Mr. Brower serves as a senior project manager for Brailsford & Dunlavey at the Redwood City School District in Redwood City, CA. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science in civil engineering in 2010 with a concentration in construction management. He is part of the construction management and oversight team in the RCSD Measure T ($193M) Bond Program, which includes modernization, new construction and site work projects with budgets ranging from approximately $1M to $20M at sixteen K-8 sites. Before joining the RCSD Bond Program Team, Kyle spent five and a half years in Oakland Unified School District’s Measure B ($435M) and Measure J ($475M) Capital Improvement Programs, where he assisted numerous project managers in addition to developing and maintaining reports covering projects program-wide. He also served as a key component in the troubleshooting, implementation and training of users for COMPASS and EADOC, two different cloud-based program and project management programs utilized by OUSD. Prior to his time at OUSD, Mr. Brower worked for a year as a field testing technician at ACA Engineering, an environmental and geotechnical construction inspection and testing services firm based in western Pennsylvania. Through this background, he has experience with institutional, commercial and residential projects. He brings to the table a passion for precision and teamwork, along with a heavy emphasis on attention to detail coupled with strong communication skills. He is a firm believer of B&D’s core value that “it’s not my job” is always the wrong answer.
