Lynn University has opened Banyan Hall, a new residence hall designed to meet the growing demand for affordable on-campus housing. Located in Boca Raton, Fl., one of Florida’s most expensive housing markets, Banyan Hall offers students a cost-effective option that eases financial pressures while enhancing the campus living experience.
With 287 beds in two- and four-bedroom suites, the new hall combines affordability with community-focused amenities. Students will have access to an open-concept community center, outdoor grilling and dining stations, a garden courtyard, and firepits—all designed to foster connection and belonging.
“Students today need more than a place to stay—they need a home where they can thrive,” said Brenden Kollar, director at Brailsford & Dunlavey. “Banyan Hall enhances Lynn’s ability to provide more contemporary on-campus housing options to its growing population.”
Banyan Hall’s opening completes the second phase of a multi-phased plan to increase the university’s on-campus housing options through public-private partnerships (“P3”) structures. With Banyan’s opening, Lynn now offers three different housing facilities on the southern edge of its campus that cater to the needs of today’s students, with a focus on more independent-style living arrangements.
