Advisory firm Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D) is set to begin conducting a market confirmation process for a housing project in Austin.
The market confirmation process is to identify the potential opportunities and actual market conditions for a public-private partnership (P3) project to benefit the University of Texas at Austin.
The project is planned to be affordable graduate student housing, and B&D is soliciting statements of interest from experienced developers or owners of local real estate who are qualified to enter into a relationship with UT Austin, a UT Austin affliated foundation, and/or a national foundation.
B&D requests interested parties submit a statement of interest that demonstrates their interest, experience, capabilities, and approach to engaging with a university, university-affliated foundation, or third-party foundation.
A letter of intent to submit is due on June 1, 2020, and statements of interest are due on June 5. Questions can be submitted until May 20.
The Request for Statements of Interest can be requested by contacting Carrie Rollman at crollman@bdconnect.com. Rollman told P3 Bulletin: “This effort is the first step to identify market interest. Questions related to scope will be addressed in any subsequent phases of the process.”
