Using P3s to support strategic asset planning, portfolio optimization, and development of educational assets

On Feb. 27, 2025, B&D Vice President Al Grazioli presented at the University of Southern California’s Real Estate Law and Business Forum. In his presentation, “Using P3s to support strategic asset planning, portfolio optimization, and development of educational assets,” Grazioli spoke on the critical role of public-private partnerships in educational asset planning and development, as well as the evolution of P3s in higher education. He dispelled common misconceptions and highlighted their operational benefits, including enhanced flexibility, risk-sharing, and access to private capital.
