Mr. Richard is a senior associate in B&D’s Chicago office. He focuses on providing real estate planning and advisory services for higher education clients. During his time at B&D he has worked on a broad array of projects, including market and financial analyses, master plans, and public-private partnerships related to redevelopment and development opportunities on college campuses. In performing all his client engagements, he identifies the critical information needed to successfully position projects for implementation.
Prior to joining B&D, Mr. Richard worked for the Village of Franklin Park, Illinois, where he oversaw the planning and economic development programs. During his time with the village, he helped to secure more than $400 million in private investment that led to new businesses and improved land uses. As an undergraduate student, he worked for four years in campus recreation. This experience greatly contributed to his passion for student life facilities at colleges and universities.
Mr. Richard earned a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development degree from Ball State University and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from Roosevelt University.
