With experience in market analyses, finance, brokerage, and development, as well as degrees in architecture, business, and city planning, Mr. Winters brings a well-rounded and unique perspective of the built environment to B&D. He utilizes his background and experience to advise higher education institutions, municipalities, and private-sector clients through all phases of the development process for quality-of-life facilities, including athletic venues, student housing, recreation centers, student unions, and mixed-use retail projects. In particular, he works with owners during the planning phase to determine market feasibility, create architectural programs, and establish project budgets and schedules. As a project transitions from planning to implementation, he takes on the role of owner’s representative by managing the client’s responsibilities through procurement, design oversight, construction management, and project close-out. His objective throughout the development process is to help clients maximize the value of their investments by delivering projects in a fashion that positions them to achieve organizational goals and strategic objectives. Prior to joining B&D, Mr. Winters supported the deployment and management of a $100 million private equity fund, which was established to target urban commercial real estate projects across the Southeast of the United States.
