Mr. Jensen brings to Brailsford & Dunlavey a diverse background in municipal planning, community development, and real estate development. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before gaining a Master’s at Ball State University. In addition, he has worked for various urban planning and community development organizations. For several years at the Village of Bartlett in Illinois he worked closely with developers, citizens, and public officials while guiding development proposals through the entitlement and plan review process. Since starting at B&D, Mr. Jensen has advised over 35 university clients on student housing projects, including P3 implementation. His significant work experience in higher education involves an increasing emphasis on assisting clients with public-private partnerships through financial modeling, transaction structure analysis, RFQ/P development, and proposal evaluation to formulate the best possible solutions.
